Any sequence of non-whitespace characters separated by spaces, tabs, or line breaks is treated as a word. You can optionally strip punctuation so that "hello," and "hello" are treated as the same word.

Yes. The splitter uses Unicode-aware whitespace splitting which works correctly with Telugu, Hindi, and other scripts. Telugu words are treated as individual tokens.

No. You can split as many words as you like — the tool is entirely browser-based and can handle large volumes of text. For very large inputs (100,000+ words) there may be minor delays.
